Through my work, I draw attention to the unseen world of the internal body, a world that lives in each and every one of us, yet so easily goes overlooked. By exploring universal yet unseen aspects of the human experience, it allows me to shed light on other common yet untold topics, like chronic pain, anxiety, and grief.

Karli Mogen is a mixed media artist, designer, and medical illustrator from South Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Art at the University of Florida and her Master’s in Medical Art at the University of Dundee in Scotland. With a focus on anatomy, cosmic imagery, and botanical motifs, Mogen explores common human experiences such as chronic pain, emotional distress, and a desire for connection. Her work has been showcased in several exhibitions across the United States and the United Kingdom.
