Race and Gender in the Medical Curriculum

The diverse background of undergraduate students delving into medical history and anthropology combined with recent discussions on decolonizing the curriculum at the university level provide a fruitful opportunity for tutors to reflect on how the racialized and gendered ill body is taught. Through the provision of teaching suggestions and the discussion of case studies, this project aims at considering the practical aspects of the decolonization of the medical curriculum, aiming at contributing towards a contemporary teaching approach.
