Arts, Humanities and the Community Mini-Grants Program

The Johns Hopkins Program in Arts, Humanities, & Health (PAHH) is pleased to announce our inaugural mini grants program. We are now accepting applications for grants of up to $1,500 for projects that create or advance arts and/or humanities-related programming for the Johns Hopkins community and/or local communities surrounding the Johns Hopkins Medical Campuses.

Who is eligible?

All Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, SOM, SON, SPH, and Berman Institute students, residents, fellows, faculty, staff, and employees. While teams are not required to be interdisciplinary, collaborations across schools/campuses/disciplines are encouraged! Potential collaborations could include, but are not limited to: teams comprising individuals at the East Baltimore and Bayview campuses; teams comprising individuals from two or more schools (School of Medicine, School of Public Health, School of Nursing, Berman Institute of Bioethics); teams that include non-JHMI community members.

July 2026 – June 2027

How do I apply?

Please send the following items, preferably as a single PDF, to PAHH@jhmi.edu by 11:59p ET on April 15, 2026.

1. Project Narrative (1-2 pages, double-spaced) with the following categories:

a. Background/Significance
b. Project Goals/Specific Aims
c. Project Description (including any outcomes)
d. Timeline

2. Budget (no longer than one page) (grant funding cannot be used for purchase of personal equipment)

3. A CV or biosketch for each team member

4. Name of the administrative entity (for e.g., specific department or program) and associated I/O number for transfer of funds if awarded.
